    Vito,
As a 6 year owner of my 85 QV, I wish you all the joy and fun in driving yours that I've had with mine. The occasional realities of repairs and costs cannot compare with the feel you have when you are out on the road with senses full of the sound of the motor and the feel of car through your hands and seat as it pulls through curves and pushes into the straights.

I too have a corsa red Mondi and when looking at the pic of your car at first could not figure out what was different about yours. And then I realized, you have black cheesegraters. A quick page back through this site and all the cars in the pics have theirs the same color as the body, silver on silver, prugna on prunga, blue on blue etc. I don't know if yours came as an original option or if a prior owner replaced them. In any event, I think it's actually kind of cool the way it reflects the black line of the window frame angling down from above. All Mondi's are special, but yours is unique. Enjoy the hell out of it!

    Regards,
    Gerald

    Thank you so much Gerald,
I can’t wait to start driving it... The black cheesegraters is what caught my eye on this car I haven’t seen one look like it. When I spoke to the owner of the car he stated that he bought the car with the black trim I’m the 3rd owner of the car and I have all the documentation since the car was bought in 1983, I wish I new of that was an option during that time.

My first Ferrari arrives next week after it's long journey from Miami to Vancouver BC.

It's exciting to see the boxes of parts arriving almost daily. Can't wait to grab the wrenches, change all the belts, seals, hoses, lines, wheels & tires, etc. and pile on the miles this summer, then spending the winter touching up the cosmetic issues.

    83 QV Coupe 47039 25K miles.

    Cheers,
    ........Phil

Not sure why three pics posted, to clarify, I only have one 1988 3.2 Mondial Cab! Black interior, which I think works best with the blackout trim and accent theme of the era, and its a CH88 Swiss market model with the unique mechanical quirks of that low volume variant.

Picture background was an interesting contrast of a burned down local bakery factory.

I also have an 88 1/2 3.2 Cab with black interior. Looks the same as your car but I’m here in the US.
    Great car. Good for you!

    NOT EVERYWHERE !!!
Always take a good look on the nozzle: In Full-Speed-Germany V-power has up to 100 octanes, whilst in Holland V-"Power" is an overexpensive 95 octane fluid.
might even be engine-destroying E10 meanwhile....
With our cars in the EU keep a very close look for the E5 or better even E0 circles on the nozzles. As far as I know BP Ultimate 98 keeps the Ethanol at 5%max.
