Fingers crossed for Charles that nothing happens to his gearbox.

Mattia Binotto: I don't think it was the internals that would have been damaged. It's more the externals of the gearbox we checked it carefully. It's only external inspections that we have done, so we will still have to cross those fingers, but all the checks we did were okay.

hahah that idea would really make the race interesting!

It would also rely on Mazepin making it past lap 3...so I guess it won't do much.

True, the big flaw is relying on Mazepin to make it past turn 3.

The giant laser will still cut Bottas in half and make him crash into Tsunoda (can't crash into Russell again, or vice versa, or whatever...that'd be suspicious)

Do you not also need a red or yellow flag that is awfully beneficial to Hamilton.

A red flag will only come out if HAM makes a mistake and recovers and needs to catch up. Then the laser will cut Russell in half, if it hasn't already cut Bottas in half.

Should have changed the gearbox - another point that they should have continued qualy as well.

Bad judgement by Ferrari to not change and a stupid rule by the FIA that allows someone to claim pole and NOT finish qualy.

Pitlane is the word now. He is going to start last. Maybe.

Binotto said they just checked the exterior of the gearbox. They did'nt check the internals.
