Let's say that Hamilton don't do "politically correct", he speaks his mind.

Toto Wolff is rather blunt himself.

Actually it’s “different strokes for different folks”—there’s even a song with that title, maybe you can listen to it to remember the phrase. Pretty catchy tune actually.

Also, maybe you should remember that when someone here expresses their thoughts about not liking Lewis (for being an ingrate and a brat which he proved again today and which you are basically admitting to) before calling them a hater. Don’t be a hater.

I think his demeanor is due to a set up change right before qualifying that crippled him for the weekend. Then add that Merc pitted first and gave up any advantage to passing in the pits (actually it was a disadvantage upon review) and I’m thinking he’s not feeling too cheery. Then VB & the wheel nut happened to make them look more like the Scuderia in 2017.

things are said in the heat of battle that may not be said after some cooling off. I didn’t see anything from him that was unexpected or unreasonable.

Another nice day for powered by Honda, P1,4, 6.

Now we can continue to have some battling and not just another Hamilton and MB run away.

    Congrats to Ferrari for P2.

I would love to be in the rooms debriefing about the DNS for the Ferrari pole sitter and the MB second fiddle for whom the pit team let him down.

LOL, so now Lewis has the additional virtue of not being PC, and “telling it like it is”. Are there no limits to what this guy can do?

You spent the beginning of this race ****ing on your team's other driver for something he had nothing to do with. The irony must be lost on you.

    Funny indeed,
He is the very symbol of the political correctness and an ideological marketing tool of the « progressive » movement.

He gave a much better response later on. Emotions likely just ran high.

"We’ll do all our talking in the background and we’ll work together and try and come out of this stronger,” said Hamilton in the television pen after the race. “We underperformed as a team all weekend from the get-go so we’ll just put our focus onto the next race. Congratulations to Max and his team, they did a great job.”

Let’s stick to F1. We can read all about the other stuff when Lewis publishes his memoirs after he retires. :)

Exactly, but I will be just happy to look at his amazing stats.

What happens off the track hasn't much interest for me,; it's simply gossips.

During the GP, Grosjean talked about his recent visit to Brackley and revealed what really impressed him: The size of the factory of course but especially they made him participate in a simulator session.
He did not imagine that Mercedes had such a sophisticated simulator with functions he did not even suspect it could exist..

With his unprovoked outbursts, sometimes I am myself wondering if that chap is playing with a full deck of cards.

maybe the entire monaco race track should be a DRS zone. that might help w passing.

Yeah, I think, or I hope, that in parc-fermé you can check for visual damage and change what’s broken only. Not sure you’re allowed a full tear-down inspection.

As Binotto described on Sky it was the driveshaft to hub joint on the left rear, so NOT the side that hit the barrier in the accident.

I wonder if that driveshaft/hub connection was damaged when the car was on the crane, being lifted off the track.

(Cue the cartoon of someone from RedBull or Merc with a big cartoon hammer. ;))

Although, theoretically, if that hub connection on the left rear failed under load, that might have rotated the car nose to the right enough to cause the impact with the barrier.
