Hoping good things for Tampa. I’ve been hoping they would trade Stamkos for the last two years but no such luck. Dude is constantly injured and I don’t understand keeping him around, but they continue to pay him huge money to ride the bench. It was disgusting to see him lay a minute in the SC just to get his name engraved but they made it happen for him. At some point he’ll be so damaged he’ll be worth zip in trade capital and at this point I suspect we’ll ride him right into the ground. Oh well. End of rant. Lol

I agree about Stamkos. Is he ever 100% healthy? And how proud would you be of a championship if you didn't even contribute? I'd be proud for my teammates who did it without me, but would take zero pride in my name on the cup if I didn't play a single game.

I'm wondering how the Captials think they have even a remote chance with Anderson in net. He is awful, always has been.

 

The big question now is if Vegas goes with Lehner tonight and not Fleury. Lehner has been really sketchy for the past 3 weeks and Fleury played great even in the loss.

Tonight is a big game for the VGK. If they lose I would say they have zero chance of the 2nd round. Injuries in the last 3 weeks really hurt them. They are not the same team without Patchieortty next to Stone.

Right now I predict Colorado vs Carolina.

 

Gotta stick with Fleury. This is almost a do or die game. Go with the veteran who knows how to win in these moments

I was at this game. I was sure it was a goal. It seemed impossible to get back to stop the open side of the net. It looked even more impossible seeing it live than on video.

Avs polish off the Blues rather easily. Kind of a pity AZ didn't get in. I would have been better to see Darcy Kuemper in goal than Binnington against them.
