The stripes vinyl and are actually OVER the clear and if there is no clear bra, then the vinyl stripe is on the paint. been on there for over 3 years and no issues. However there are a couple of area's that have been chipped and you can see the red from the car... but you really have to look.
Activating this ages old thread for the F8. Samantha actually brought up the idea, I think it could look good if tastefully done. Thinking vinyl silver and black center on hood, roof and hatch. Bad news is she’s referring to it as her car. So, I get to be the overly critical instructor with her at the wheel tonight on the way to Cedar Key for a romantic dinner. She’s already been told any red light la on the steering wheel are strictly verboten……
Nice, would you mind posting a pick of the rear deck lid? Thanks Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat.com mobile app
anyone has a yellow F8 with stripes? I am debating whether or not to add stripes....I also have a black roof
This is a bit of a necrobump ... I added a stripe to my F8 and I'm glad I did. This, like the rest of my mods, is easily reversible. Thank you. I took the car to a shop that specializes in adding aftermarket liveries. For the color, I asked for a metallic grey/silver stripe that would match the finish of the wheels. I wanted the stripe to tie in the wheels with the rest of the spec. In the sun it matches well. They brought out a sample and I held it up to the wheels and it looked like a match in the bright sun. I’ll admit that in darker conditions, the stripe is a bit more grey. I thought about having them redo the stripe so that it perfectly matches the wheels but if I go much brighter with the stripe, the stripe will look white in many lighting conditions. They wrapped the antenna.
Hi guys,I want to add a stripe to my 2021 F8 Spider, yours looks great. Can you tell me who did it the design and made the actual stripes.; I'm in New York metro. Thanks Lou G
Hi, Lou The installer of my stripe is www.instagram.com/vinyllabsf I don't have any recommendations for New York vinyl/wrap installers. Regarding the design, I showed them an example of a striped F8 I found on Instagram. It was a red car with black stripes. Once we agreed on the color, he brought out a tape measure and we agreed on the widths of the stripe columns (doing our best to match the stripe in the reference picture). From that, he printed the stripe. I dropped the car off on a Thursday and picked it up Saturday afternoon. Having the stripe end at the S Duct was bothering me a little. I took the car back in to extend the stripe to the front lip area. Thanks for the help Road Ronin. There are so many choices, with the S Duct being the focal point along with the front lip. My biggest frustration is finding someone like Vinyl labs SF to help with the design and production. Appreciate the guidance.
