Gated and 2k miles, highest asking price I’ve ever seen, let’s see where the next auction lands, there’s a few gated coupes out there asking 140-170k now.

Gulf Coast Motors in Bonita Springs Florida has a 2002 gated Modena for sale. Red/tan, 7,000 miles. Asking $199,995.

 

Holy stromboli, Batman. Seems they are just fishing to see where the market really is. Recent gated Modenas have traded in the $110-125k range but $200k is nosebleeds territory--at least this week. ;-)

 

There were a couple of high dollar 360s that are off the market now, probably sold, 169 ish and a 229k car on Autotrader.

This car looks underpriced, won’t be around for long. Probably would bring 150-175k on BAT, they love coupes.

 

My thinking too.... For such a low mile example...

 

It's the same car by VIN, from a previous sale from who knows when judging from the mileage. It's just a terrible website that doesn't show the status, or allow one to filter current inventory.

Interesting car for $200k, looks like a complete stripper? Shields don't look original, don't see indentation.

 

Both of the last two cars mentioned here are low-mileage examples, to be sure. But neither have Daytona seats and both look like paste-on shields, although that may just the camera angles. Other than the after-market exhausts, not really many options on either, as well, from what the descriptions and pictures provide.

And what is with the six exhaust pipes on the La Jolla car? I don't think I've ever seen that before and it looks quite odd.

 

This is great news! This is the best of the mid V8's to me. I might sell mine for $250K.

True! Never have seen a 6 pipe exhaust, would be easy to do any good 4 pipe exhaust.

 

So the La Jolla car and the Bonita Springs car are the same cars. 3822 miles with 6 exhaust tips asking $125,000. Now 7712 miles with 4 tips (Tubi?) asking $199,995. Wonder how long between sales. I'll see the car Saturday.

I am not familiar with that exhaust. I have never seen a 3-port before. It would take a little getting used to!

 

Clean car. Why did they stop at three?!! Yikes not for me.
