Our LaFerrari battery charger charging status light turns red after a few days. The owners manual tells you to unplug and reset. This works and it goes back to charging again. In a day or 2 it goes back to red.

I think the car needs a new 12v starter battery.
    Any input would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Start with the 12 volt for sure.

Then you might actually have a problem with the main pack.

Did you have the battery checked before you acquired it?

When fully charged all three lights will blink at the same time, about every 5 seconds or so.

My guess is that your starter battery (12v) has at some point dropped below 2v, and will not allow a full charge now.

The starter battery is located just forward of the left, rear wheel.

When did you have the maintainer software updated?

We bought the car about 2 years ago. The battery was not checked at that time.

The maintainer software has not been updated. Does the Dealer have to do the update?
I am in Sarasota, FL, Can someone recommend a shop that might be able to do that?
    Thanks
