looking to get an exhaust custom built for my base mode 430
and am looking to achieve the high pitch note of the 355's

any suggestions ? what is in the design that makes it high pitch and
why does some say the 430 sounds better with a cat VS catless ?

as some say the S-line has the highest pitch sound, what's in their design that makes the difference ?

    thanks

Its on a 458, but its worth investigating for the 430 because, in my opinion and most who have seen this video, that this is the closest to an F1 sound you are going to get. Go to 17:57, Car 6. Check out all of Car#6's examples:

Careful what you wish for, some people have had to tone it down.

I’ve heard 430 with sline, The pitch still no where near as sharp As a 355 or 360 with the same exhaust set up. The 430 just doesn’t have that natural scream that a 355 or 360 with Capristo or titanium exhaust has. The 458 has a scream but it sounds as synthetic as as Tape recording. It’s very similar to the problem you have with an Aventador versus Murcielago, One of these cars clearly has a better more natural Exhaust tone.

The high pitch F1 sound comes from having an X-Pipe inline at the higher RPMs. If you want a very loud but awesome sounding car put on a Fabspeed raceline X-Pipe.

This is intended as a track exhaust so very different than other X-Pipes out there.

A bunch of the exhausts out there which have valves that just dump to straight pipes when open which doesn’t give you the high pitch sound.

This one has no valve option, sounds awesome in downshift with great pops and crackles even with stock manifolds and cats. At high RPMs it sounds very high pitch and if you do a tune, headers and cat delete there is the potential for some shooting flames. Only downside it’s always sounds like a race car.

The only option if you want the ability to be quiet on demand but still have that high pitch sound at high RPMs is the Kline valvetronic. Much more expensive that the Fabspeed raceline X-Pipe, heavier and can take some lead time to get since they are made for order and are shipped from Romania. The Kline uses a full muffler/silencer when valves are closed and then uses the X-Pipe when the valves are open, it never bypasses to straight though.

    I hope that helps.

    Cheers,
    Corey

Kreisseig, or Kline Inconel is for sure the highest pitched.

Kreisseig (I think i'm misspelling it); is because they're known for their F1 Sounding Exhausts.

Kline Inconel, because of the material, it will inherently cause the pitch to be higher to begin with.

We're nitpicking here, but it's "ei," then "ie". Kreissieg.
