Happy Memorial Day. , to all you friends and especially you Veterans. Ok so,, The original tube was damaged,, this replacement 308 tube was 3/16” too long,, causing it to suck,, on the pan bottom. ( Restricting oil flow.) So,, 1) you can just pull the motor,, a third time. ( aaaarrrrgggg ,, how about no) Or, 2) modify tube as shown.
Incredible project, incredible tenacity to stick with the project. When will the car be up for sale? DO NOT DRIVE IT TOO MUCH TO DIRTY IT!!! I might have missed the post, but have you dyno'd the engine? Is it 350hp? Thanks.
hi Steve,,, Thanks for following my progress,, so far so good. And,, 350 HP ,,? Nope,, That was the Norwood Turbo Cabriolet I had back in 2002. .. This car with 9.8 to One compression Norwood pistons,,?? Probably only 240 HP. ( ha ha) stay tuned,, Ferrari friend, Eduardo
Image Unavailable, Please Login Aaron,, and David, Yes,, see photo of the 350 HP Norwood Turbo Ferrari QV motor. That motor had 8.2 to one factory Ferrari QV pistons in it. … Running one BAR of Turbo Boost. I sold that car in 2003,, and it was returned back to the Dallas area. It was a 1985 Black ( Nero) Cabriolet QV. Nice car and super fun to drive,, but wouldn’t pass California Smog. It did pass Colorado Smog,, up in Summit County.

( found a newer harness off of a 1987 Cabriolet. Note car will not run without a forward wire harness. ,,) also,, my New garage had to be built to support my endeavors ….. etc. ( whew)
