I'm not willing to pay $30k. But $25k, yes (and only if they're plain weave carbon). Impossible to find a car with plain weave carbon sports seats AND cheap enough for the headache. CA DMV tax is already 10% of the car ($10k min in today's market). I feel $25k is a more than generous personal budget for them. If I can't make it work, I'll just get my challenge seats done and call it a day. Probably save me $22k .
If they're plain weave then I'd agree especially considering they're NOS. However...it would hurt to even sit in a NOS set. It's almost automotive art/history in a way.
I'd love to pay less for a used set, but not one person has responded to my wanted ad . I'm on the hunt and I do enjoy the chase. Part of the hobby I guess. One of my personal rewards of 355 ownership.
I have pretty much decided to wait until next year and see what happens to purchase. I would love to know everyone’s thoughts on if it’s gonna settle or just keep climbing? I see people literally raising prices while the cars are for sale right now, that trend seemingly can’t keep going. I feel like a crash (no pun intended) has to be on the horizon even if it’s a small one. I’m just hoping a gated hard top can be bought for under 100k again soon. I don’t even need the untouchable GTS
Thoughts on this car? https://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/cars-for-sale/ferrari/f355/2442738.html?utm_source=autotempest&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=autotempest_classifieds
Nice find. $160k ask for a car with 35k mi. Seems like my prediction of prices skyrocketing by end of summer is beginning to unfold. Red/tan is in high demand if that’s what you’re after. Stickies been addressed?
I have no idea but I certainly am curious to see where it ends up. Even at $125K for a TMU -- that is strong, strong money.

Guys...look at Harry's preview of Silverstone Auctions June Ferrari sale...He saves the best for last (a few lovely 355's) one has CF seats too. The guide prices are all in the 60-90k GBP. Are US prices just super bubble-y compared to anywhere else?
Very nice spec. I paid what was at the time nearly 458 money for my 355. Pretty confident I could get more than an equally desirable 458 at this point.
All credibility lost when he says the challenge grill is the F1 grill and prevents headers from cracking.
The red car is a hillclimb champion so it’s a restored race car. Not sure how it should be valued, but I guess we’ll have to wait and see. Notice it’s a 95? That’s what you need if you want to put down some power .
This one will be interesting. Hi miles, but rare color. Desirable color?? Who’s got over/under $125k? I’ve got the under.
That car has been on the market for 2 months on consignment in Texas. Owner wanted 120k for it. The color kills it for me personally, but the fact that it’s rare sure helps!
It's been on the market for longer than 2 months. I think it was even around last year. It's a nice combo. I think the mileage being a bit to the higher side is only reason it hasn't sold for their ask.
Have you seen Verde Silverstone Metallic in person? It's the Swaters Blu of green, but just doesn't cut it, IMO. Looks almost black unless the sun hit is just right. Considered this VSM spider before I bought my car. Image Unavailable, Please Login
