The two wires that connect to the temperature sensor on the radiator bottom tank, can these two wires be connected to either of the male sensor connector tabs, which appear identical?

Replacing the radiator which had a small leak, the radiator comes out quite easily.

Yes (that "sensor" is a thermoswitch that just connects those two wire together at high temperature and disconnects them at low temperature so there's no "polarity" requirement).

This is a thermal "on-off" switch for the radiator fans. The wires can go on either of the 2 terminals.
