There’s a guy I know. Saves up every penny and works like an animal to keep up with the Joneses. He replaces his car with the latest and the greatest of the F8 class as soon as a new one comes out. He pre-sold his 488 and has been waiting for his F8 and the poor bastard is probably squirming in his pants now that this new car is coming out. I think A lot of people assumed the new car was going to be an inexpensive Dino . But they were wrong. There was a lot of denial. Thought the F8 was going to be around forever. To make matters worse from everything I hear the new car is going to usher in a new gorgeous design language that is going to be absolutely wicked. I think this new car will be be on fire.

I keep checking with my local dealer- still refuses to recognize the new car and he’s doing every thing possible to tell me to order an F8. I appreciate the fact they want to squeeze as many of those things out as possible to keep profits coming in and maximize the tooling for the F8.

I was never a fan of the F8 design. But I do believe that those who have one and hold onto it will find that it will be worth a lot of money after many many years. It will be the last non-hybrid entry level Ferrari. Look at Italia prices - the last na v8.

but I cannot afford to be a collector. I’ll be happy to own one of these 171s. I’ll enjoy the hell out of my R8 till then.

    enjoy your cars!

Well said! For me I prefer older cars - it will be my first new to order , my newest car ever is an FF which I’m in the process of selling.

Aventador replacement is not coming until 2024, they’ll be introducing an updated version called the SJ (like M in Ferrari speak) later this year.

According to Lambo-talk forum, the car is suppose to be a parts-bin special, basically all the updates of the SVJ on a S body without the ALA system.

If you look at the heavily camo V6 you will see what looks like perspex with large drilled holes around that same area just by the lights

1200hp...it mean having about 350-400 "electric horses" ... the battery needed to supply them with a decent margin of use in "qualify mode" would weigh too much...
With a na v12 the new hypercar will never have a significant power (the v12 will always be limited at about 840/850hp) compared to the current gen and future gen hypercars, and compensate all the missing power from the v12 with the hybrid section it will increase the weight a lot, even using carbon fiber (sf90 with "only" 220 electric hp already weigh a lot with a relatively small v8...ok it not have a full carbon chassis but even with that you can spare about 100-120kilos, not much more, and v12 is already heavier than the v8 from the start...)

I expect more hp than the 488 pista/F8, I've never seen a new model less powerful than the one that is replaced

I like the 570s/600lt face slightly but that sweet sounding v6 from the artura is really good

Why's that? It is not unreasonable to expect 1000 HP from a brand new Ferrari V12, Cosworth did it (kind of, it's not out yet).

Some are saying the V6 is replacing the V8 range. I cant see it. Fact is Ferrari will be forced to retire the V12 before the V8 it would be crazy to remove a V8 range now. that being said 700hp ish for the 1st new gen v6 line would be make sence.

as has been said somewhere here the cosworth is not meant for a "daily" use like the recent ferrari products

not if 700hp is the max output combined with hybrid. LB is the F8 replacement, can't be less powerfull. Even the new maserati V6 deliver 630hp, so I expect an even higher specific power (horsepower per liter) from a brand new Ferrari v6 and I hardly imagine a hybrid section with only 70-80hp, they are not sufficient to move a 1.5/1.6 tons car in e-mode only with decent speed and acceleration, even for a urban use, so I expect ~750hp (V6 + E-engine)

Everybody MUST downsize. As said so many times before.
12 becomes 8, and 8 becomes 6 cyls. Get used to it.
    The party is over.
(Even Mercedes is giving up their legendary V8 and will install a 4 cyl plus some hybrid b.s.). It is extremely frustrating and a real shame. How to loose clients.

Every manufacturer is having to readjust, I doubt that any manufacturer will be putting any capital into developing ICE after 2030, seems like they’re being suffocated through regulation.

Perfectly stated Marcel, as usual. That’s why I bought a C63 as my daily driver this year. A 4 Cylinder Hybrid for C63 is just criminal, and I hope Mercedes go bust because of this… lol

Well it is a MC20 with a Monza nose, to be more accurate I meant that the Monza nose would look great on a mid-engined car.
