This will be interesting... Seeing the delta play out between a Factory gated 430 and an EAG conversion. Like the difference between an original Daytona Spyder and a Straman conversion.
But in this case every part used is an original Ferrari part that was installed to conform to a pre existing factory configuration.
so does it have the oem power unit for the ediff is what im wandering. either way i think factory gated cars are going for less. But i wish him luck with the sale
ttforcefed interesting to monitor the price point on this Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
This is an interesting one because it’s allegedly factory parts instead of EAG parts. Curious about this too.
Not arguing with you. I don’t know every in-and-out of the conversions, just that he claims every part is original so I’m sure at this price he’s prepared to back that up.
I'm not arguing either at all. I'm just saying that when somebody goes to look at a car like this they have to look at Everything. I've had many people contact me about cars being converted. It's important to know the parts. One reason to know the parts and what was done is if you go to get the car repaired somewherr you could be screwed
Both the 6 speed manual and the F1 automated transmission versions of the F430 have the electronic differential.
Both the 360 and F430 cars with 6 speed manual transmission bring a premium in the marketplace. Plenty of sales history to support that fact.
No doubt they bring a premium, but I guess the question is around if an aftermarket custom swap brings the same level of premium, versus a factory original. For the right buyer it might not matter! I think there are some more build kits coming out based on the factory parts that cost around 20k. So should any premium for an aftermarket swap manual really ceiling at around that same kit “cost”?
when u buy aftermarket wheels you never get what you paid for them. Even if the car was converted with all true factory parts like i did to mine its still not the same as buying a factory car.
This doesn’t seem like the thread to have this debate as this is the classified section. Plenty of “conversion” threads across the various sub-forums. Hope the seller gets all that the market can bear.
"Hope the seller gets all that the market can bear." No debate on that! I'm all for the seller. Go Red
Regretting not following through on the F1 model with same miles/spec I nearly bought last year for $125k planning a $35k conversion....
