What about those thieving hookers that went to Melbourne to steal high end handbags ? They got a slap on the wrist !!!
So, I can't find any figures or details on the various State Gov web sites re Covid testing sites and how many people from these testing sites have been found to have the virus? So say Melbourne , one would think they would give a figure per 100,000 tests ?
thought so ! Not once Pat , have I heard the words or similar " our pop up testing today tested 19,000 people and ..so many were found to have the virus ..
India got under control due to the widespread adoption of Ivermectin. It's currently not approved by the FDA (interestingly when you look on their website, the logic is pure bureaucratese "Ivermectin is not approved because we haven't approved it). However, momentum is growing as more evidence comes in. https://journals.lww.com/americantherapeutics/abstract/9000/ivermectin_for_prevention_and_treatment_of.98040.aspx

Having just spent a couple of days in QLD, my observations are: I cannot believe how lax they are with the QR code caper, compared to SA and WA (the only other states I've spent much time in lately). I remember in WA people being refused service until they sign in, and here in SA you will constantly be asked if you've signed in. While most places in QLD have the signs stuck up somewhere, several I visited did not have them anywhere I could see, and I estimate 80% of people going in and out of shops, cafes, etc. were not signing in. There were no people checking, and no-one seemed to give a schitt. This was very different to what I have observed elsewhere. Now this is interesting because the first thing my brother (whom is a proper hard core righty. Way more than me) said was "Great. This is how it should be" and proceeded to bang on about freedom and individual choice etc. On the surface, I would tend to agree. But because of the stupid way governments are at the moment, I don't. This is precisely why when there are one or two cases in QLD they decide to lock the place down. Because there is no way they can properly contact trace when no-one is actually signing in anywhere. If QLD were to have a few cases they would be like Victoria and have NFI where people have been. I can only assume that the reason NSW is so good at contact tracing is because by and large, people are signing in? Am I right? So what at first glance looks like "freedom" is actually making it more likely that you'll be locked down. It's a strange situation.
Most restaurants that I’ve been to in Sydney are pretty diligent in getting you to sign in, the NSW Service app makes it really easy.
Lol! I never went back as planned - the aircraft was waiting for parts from Switzerland for the entire time of my second stint. I won't be back there until November, now. But you guys were really anal about the sign in thing. I was refused service to buy a pie even in what was effectively an outdoor bakery cart until I showed them my phone!
