These road cars, when they fitted radial tyres, which i think is most or all of them did, fitted 185R15 tyres. And i think predominantly they were https://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/catalog/product/view/id/1827/s/set-of-4-185vr15-pirelli-cinturato-ca67/category/9041/ Because this was the best radial tyre for a sports car.

some may have fitted the Dunlop Dog bone because they were cheaper. (Now there is a SP Sport which came out in 1968 https://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/catalog/product/view/id/1427/s/185vr15-dunlop-sp-sport-aquajet/category/9041/ though sadly these are made under license else where.)

These cars didn't fit 205VR15 Cinturato CN72, because they didn't come out until 1964 when Pirelli attained the ability to have a 205 section tyre thatt was capabale of withstanding these speeds. and the didn't fit 205/70Vr15 or 215/70VR15 tyres, because they didn't get invented until 1968.

What i consider to be the other best tyre for these cars would be the Michelin XVS, and currently we have a real bargain on these tyres https://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/catalog/product/view/id/1428/s/185vr15-michelin-xvs/category/9041/

Are there any documents or period photos that show Dunlop tires were mounted originally on the Lusso. Thank you in advance for your help.

I could be wrong, but i don't think they did fit the Dunlop, because in those days they couldn't make a radial tyre that thery could speed rate high enough.

These are period Jagual Service Bulletins.

Ferrari routinely used the Dunlop SP 57 as one of the tire types originally furnished for some of their production. Certainly the 275s often were provided with the Dunlop SP, and I believe option for Lusso also. Both 275GTB and 275GTS shown at the Paris Salon of 1964 had Dunlop SP.

The tires were only H rated. The 275GTB homologation certificate lists "Dunlop 205 HR 14" and "Pirelli 210 HR 14 Cinturato HS". I believe the Lusso certificate is similar, but do not have at hand to check. Paris Salon was I think October 1964.
