So last Wednesday I got my first Covid shot (Astra Zeneca), ran out of energy on day 2 but apart from that all good... until this afternoon when I suddenly have a piercing pain in my little finger and look down to see a huge blood bubble under the skin of the first joint? Hastened to the doctor who fortunately took one look and said “burst blood vessel” not blocked blood vessel but it’s black and blue and still bloody sore. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'm sure that provided a few moments of concern before your saw the doctor I'm booked in for my first shot tomorrow week.
Yes we call it Depression Bay, done a few jobs up there, sketchy area and virtually everyone is unemployed!!
No - coincidental; just freaked me out a bit because I don’t know how to tell the difference between a burst and a blocked blood vessel...
I'm looking at the numbers and international rulings on AZ. I'm not remotely an anti-vaxxer but I won't have that jab. Have a friend going through serious issues - I don't think he'll ever be the same again. I'm also going to wait as long as practical before having Pfizer, there are too many unknowns around longer term effects.
KKenny it might be time for you to do a runner: From 4pm today the following restrictions will apply for Greater Sydney, Blue Mountains, Central Coast and Shellharbour:
Sorry to here about your friend Ian, I had my first AZ jab and if it hadn't been for the band aid I wouldn't have remembered which arm got it. So I guess it's the luck of the drawer.
I'm waiting for the Pfizer Kenny, even after looking at the graph for age group stats indicating AZ is safest for the 60-70 age group I still want Pfizer
