Back to regular scheduled programming. One for our RHD guys. @MAD828 https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202106214017750 1996 F355 GTS Carbon Seats Rosso Corsa on Black with Red inserts and carpets 37,000 miles 99,970 GBP // $140,000 USD F355 GTS Manual for sale with extremely rare factory spec carbon bucket seats. This car is presented in excellent condition throughout with an extensive history and a whole folder of receipts having been looked after through it’s ownership. Serviced every year dating back to 1995 this vehicle has been evidently well maintained throughout its life. This modern classic presents itself as a great investment opportunity with, what’s believed to be, 1 of only 14 RHD GTS manuals to be ordered with the desirable carbon buckets seats, and carbon door sills. In the cabin, the car has benefited from the switches being recently being removed of the ‘sticky’ buttons. During its previous ownership the car has also been fitted with a Tubi exhaust system, making that incredible V8 sound. MOT until March 2022, and just recently serviced at Ferrari in March 2021 including full cambelt replacement. Yep, that's me. And you're right, you guys didn't stand a chance Actually sold the modded 95 gated black Berlinetta yesterday.
Congrats. You got a real nice one. Post some pics when you get a chance...I want to see more of that interior. Is it Tobacco?
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1996-porsche-911-carrera-4s-48/ 993 sold for $144k. $149k all in. @INTMD8 I made a small bet with a buddy who happens to own a 993 and looking for a 355, the red 355 GTS is gonna pull more money. EASY dinner .
^ Yes for sure. I thought it would have done better based on what the last one went for on there with almost triple the miles.
Close to this one though. https://www.pcarmarket.com/auction/1998-porsche-911-carrera-s/ Is this proof “who” owned a car before doesn’t matter? If an F1 World Champion isn’t good enough …
Yup, Tobacco. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Not sure if this was posted. Early GTS, no air bad 100k usd. Says complete history 2 owner car. 36k miles. Super steal. Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my SM-G981W using Tapatalk
The car is a full repaint and not done to OEM standards. Both sides door jambs painted. Questionable alignment on hood/headlight gaps. Rear bumper cover vents not painted black. The pictures are so terrible I can't tell if it even had the pinstripe reapplied after the repaint. The price isn't a steal...it's probably correct.
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1999-nissan-skyline-gt-r-3/ R34 GTR. $320k F355 is better than an R34 too .
The green/tobacco car is gorgeous, congrats. Maybe closer to the car Clarkson wanted to order Some spec rwd 993 is nice , problem is, unlike the F355 they didn't all come with LSD. R34 is neat but yes I'll take an F355 any day. The GTR's I've driven, as much as I tried, banging gears lefty (even though I am lefty) is very difficult to do quickly for me.
Kinda hard to compare, yes the 355 is a better car, but the US legal R34 is a pretty big deal… there are only about 15 of them left.
My beef with the GT-R, when you’re inside one, you think you’re inside a Nissan Maxima. Zero emotion for me. Exterior is ok though.
“This right-hand-drive MPII R34 is offered with Show or Display paperwork, service records, and a clean Colorado title in the seller’s name.” I think the only ones drivable, at least in CA, are the early Motorex cars. I was sort of working with Motorex many years back trying to get their R32’s dot approved in CA. I believe they went under not long after.
Ok. Reading through the BAT comments, I think I know what transpired. Tunercult won the car. They giveaway cars through raffles obtained from buying Tunercult merch. Their last R34, also midnight purple, was a huge hit. Heck, even I bought some merch lol. Lucrative business model if you can offer the right car.
Honest owners all say the same. Plus that they don't drive well...90s Nissan. I love them, but at that price get a Ferrari.
