Did you confirm those pressures with a gauge? Seeing the temps, going from 32 to 38 seems a bit off. Try driving till they are hot and then confirm the pressures with the same gauge you used to set cold pressure with. Again, the TPMS is not very precise. I set my 488 pressures today. I verified with two gauges that read the same. However the TPMS was off by more than 0.2 bar. In the front and off by 0.1 in the rear. A good gauge is a must. I have DWS 06 in oem size for the front for the past year, but would love to go with the new sizes. Hopefully the proper psi would have been fully ironed out by that time. Any rubbing with the larger DWS sizes as suggested? The original DWS was well known to have soft sidewall. Part of the "06" update was added ribs to the sidewall; that improved the condition but still was not adequate. Thus many users recommended running 2-4 psi above oem psi. For this last "plus" update earlier this year, I did not see any mentioning of increasing side wall stiffness.
They are BIG balloons with reinforced sidewalls (XL). Doubt a weak sidewall will be an issue. The OE shoes are pretty soft too. No rubbing. Sent from my SM-G930F using FerrariChat.com mobile app
If this is not too common for you, perhaps consider trying replacing just the fronts with 255/35Re0. They will run with your stock rears. Sent from my SM-G930F using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I've had the car since Nov 2020 It came with two sets of wheels, one had the oem summer tires (pictured above), the other set had winter tires which I replaced with r compounds lol I haven't had to replace any wheels yet - but then I'm super paranoid how I drive I might end up just doing a set of two, I don't want to replace all the tires, but the age of the rears is concerning - 2016 means 5yrs old
The Michelins age quite well, so I'd say just wear them down. Can't take that long anyhow Then when they are done, look into upsizing.
So upsize to 255/35/20 now on the fronts, and then to what on the rears when I'm ready to replace the rears?
Interesting, I'm going to do 255/35/20 Michelin PS4S on the fronts and I'll try to do 315/35/20 Michelin PS4S on the rears when it's time to swap out the rears
I'm hoping my more paranoid driving will fare better, I didn't have any issues earlier - but I drive incredibly paranoid, I'm always looking for potholes or any deviations in the road
