nope: 663 from the v6 only, total power (due to hibrid) is 830hp

 

there used to be a time where every Ferrari was a work of art. Those days a numbered for sure. I remember seeing the 355... the 430. The 458... each was an improvement.

the rear (the best part) and the rear fender reminds me a lot of 246 GT and 250 Le Mans

Really nice organic body design, very nice !

 

I like it. The performance has to be mega.

 

Call me nuts, but I think the 296 looks like a freakin' blast to drive. I love the 'small', I love the idea of combining hybrid+turbo, I love the idea of gobs of HP. Maybe I'm a sucker for good marketing, but it looks hot A.F. I doubt the modificata version would be my cup of tea, but the berlinetta or an upcoming spider? heck yeah.

 

At least the standard wheels are nice. Hated those on the F8.

 

The only part I love is its rear. Finally Ferrari has an elegant rear end again.
Everything else looks mediocre. Profile, front. Meh.

 

That rear! The front 3/4 view doesn't treat it well, I agree they could have done a little, only a little, better with the front, but the rear is OUTSTANDING!

Now that it has been confirmed that the 296 GTB is not replacing the F8, I wonder in which direction Ferrari is going with the successor of the F8/488/458.

A nice tribute to the 250 LM. The design elements and DNA is very strong with this one. Congratulations to Ferrari. I think they nailed it. It looks fantastic.

I like the looks...can't wait to see it in person and that really cements the design and looks to me. I like that it is suppose to be smaller and lighter but for tall guys like me I wonder if the Ferrari is like older ones that I could never fit into. Hummm

If I were looking for a new mid-engined Ferrari I would be very tempted to put down a deposit.
(But I’m not...sticking with my 458 Spider and my Speciale.)

 

Interestingly Ferrari is only claiming slight performance improvements versus the F8.

Half a second quicker to 124.

I would be figured it would be more dramatic.
