The rear end and rear side panels are a big improvement over the SF90. The front end appears more aggressive than SF90 and overall in balance with the proportions of the body. What isn't quite doing it for me is the angular looking GTR35 Messerschmidt turret and side glass profile which creates a conflict of sorts with the curvy front and rear panels. Overall it's 1000% better than the SF90 design which really doesn't work at all. The design team need to decide between an angular design or a curvy design because both don't quite mix together. That roof cap looks a bit more like a lid than a roof though. This looks to be more of a design that will grow on rather than something that totally knocks you out at first look. I'm also sure it will look better in the flesh and I think it does date the F8 and, looks better to me, more modern. Overall it's a nice car even though the roof isnt 100%. I guess now we need to know how it sounds. I'm sure it will perform better than F8.
Love the look of the engine. The rest of it, meh. Soft, generic, and just looks like we’ve seen it many times before. Really not as striking as a Ferrari should be.* * They tend to look better in the flesh, so I may we’ll change my mind when I get up close.
Hahahaha thank you for that, best comment I’ve seen on here in a while. I literally just LOL’d and woke my wife up.
This car will look spectacular in person. Missed an opportunity to have a simple singular round tail light at each corner of the rear.
The stainless steel look is likely due to being positioned directly over the turbos, I imagine it is going to absorb a lot of heat, any colors would fade/distort...
This V6TT engine isn't technically better than Maserati's MC20 V6TT, The Nettuno V6TT uses TJI technology directly from F1 tech. How come Ferrari didn't use this technology for 296GTB new V6 engine?
I agree the rear end is the star of the show, but I must say, she looks quite attractive from this angle as well... Image Unavailable, Please Login
My only disappointments are: -kinda like the s duct -looks very GT would have loved a tiny bit more aggressiveness -the interior I was looking for a bigger leap forward, it’s the same stuff except with a roma/sf90 screen -that announced price at 348k … My pluses -go kart feel -performance -nimble -engine bay -classy -sound Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Maybe cost. That precombustion system is pretty exotic. MC20 is all CF tub also... not on Little Brother. The MC20 is starting to look like a bargain. I think it starts at like 220K
Although similar to the SF90, the front is much better—and closer to the Pista—especially the simple lights. They referred to these as a modern interpretation of the classic oval lights.
100% agree. Changes my opinion of the 3/4 front view almost completely. Sent from my SM-G781U1 using Tapatalk
This is a great angle and probably its best although there is no need for the painted yellow rear face. Less is definitely more there. This car definitely smashes SF90 into oblivion. Id take one of these over an F8. I think they are now back on track with the design. All they need do now is deal with the sound issue.
Looks like it was made for a bicolor roof... excuse the quality of my very quick render. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I know red it the traditional launch color, but this design is going to look spectacular in blues and greys. The pictures of the hotrod version clearly show the lines better.
I like it waaay better than the sf90. The floating A-pillar is reminiscent of the one found in 288 GTO and 308. Oh and looks better because it doesn't have an ugly black roof with it
Call me crazy but it is an updated Maserati Merak. Doors and window carry the eye shape and the back end strikes those same chords Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Would like to see a 'basic' version without that electric stuff. 630hp is more than enough and the reduce of weight would be more than 100kg I suppose.
