F8 Tributo, new stablemate for my Challenge Stradale

A few weeks ago I finally took delivery of my Grigio Alloy F8 tributo.
I’ve covered around 1000 kms in it now and all I can say is: I absolutely love it!!
It can be very comfortable if you want, but put it in Race (haven’t tried CT-off or ESC-off mode yet) and then the car completely transfers into a very fast, impressive, spectacular, efficient sportscar!

My Challenge Stradale ofcourse is a more raw, hardcore racecar for the street but you can only enjoy it on perfectly smooth roads without speed bumps, or ofcourse on a racetrack
Unfortunately the roads here in Belgium mostly aren’t that great and that’s exactly the reason why the F8 to me is the perfect stablemate for my CS.
The CS can get tiresome on bumpy roads and constantly bottoming out doesn’t help either
Driving the F8 in Race-mode (without even pushing the Bumpy road button!) on these roads is alot more fun.
Last week i drove around 500 kms at the twisty mountain/backroads in the belgian ardennes around Spa-Francorchamps and the F8 really was a dream the drive!
Then again, driving the CS on a challenging perfectly smooth mountainpass is such a rewarding experience that no other car has ever given me!
Not even mentioning the sound, speaking of which, I rather like the sound of the F8 on the inside at low to mid revs, at higher revs and on the outside the car is a bit too quiet when you’re used to the screaming CS!

I will keep the CS forever but to be honest, I think the F8 will stay for a very long time as well.

Grigio Alloy really shows all the beautiful lines of the F8, in real life even more so than in pictures.
I almost went for yellow stitching and stripes on the seats, but I’m glad i changed my mind the very last moment for my final configuration.
The tricolore stripe in combination with the Grigio Chiaro stitching really works well with the Grigio Alloy exterior. The yellow brake calipers and the Grigio Corsa wheels give the car a sporty look.

 

Thanks, and you’re right, every time I take the F8 out I like it even more!
It really amazes me how the car can change from a comfortable daily driver to an astonishingly fun weekend toy.
I really love the steering, it’s very accurate and gives the car a very confident inspiring handling.
The power delivery is mindblowing, brakes are well balanced and have more than enough stoppingpower for the street, no track experience yet.
I could drive it all day long.... and after the drive I could stare at it all night long, it looks so gorgeous.
Ferrari gave it the perfect name, ”Tributo”, that is exactly what it is!
