    Hello Everyone,

I was a member for years, but my identity was stolen & they wiped out all of my email accounts. Anyways, I have read everything regarding this question on the board, but wasnt able to find the answer. There are a ton of threads on insurance carriers & people saying "I love this company" or "dont use this carrier," etc.

My question is: Does anyone have experience making a claim? I'm trying to decide who to go with based on the reality of how they handle things when something happens.

(I didnt wreck a car). I like my current agent too, but I want to go with someone that really steps up when there is a claim.

    Thanks for your time.

    Tim

I just went to Hagerty car insurance I used them to tow my Ferrari to my shop with no problems. They actually sent me a map of where the driver was and what time he would arrive at my house. They are also very good when paying out for damages as well!

Yes. Geico paid up last spring with no hassle at all. Shop of my choice. Premium barely went up the next year and yes, it was a huge bill from just a minor accident (no airbags and drivable) and all factory parts.
