Here's our family of mid-1960's cars . The GTC and the GTS aren't exactly red - they are early rossa corsa (Rosso Nearco) which is more like a wine red. I've had these cars a long time and driven them many miles, including some track time. My overall impression is that the 330 GTC is the fastest of the lot, but the 275 GTS is more fun. The 275 engine is very responsive, sounds great, and loves to rev while the GTC cranks out noticeably more torque, thus it accelerates faster. The 275 has both alloy wheels (which it came with) and the proper size Borranis.

Yes Mark, I bought chassis 11233, (222KUO) one of I believe only 2 RHD 330GTSs back from the States and painted her blue with tan interior. Kevin O’Rourke’s Moto Technique and Colin Clark did the restoration, winning Best of Show at the FOC. I got married in her, drove Gerhard Berger around Silverstone pre the British GP and loved the car for its beauty and capability. I had to sell her to raise money to buy my home. She went to an American and more recently belongs to an Irishman I believe. Greta car for which I have very fond memories.

Happy memories. Just looked it up and a bit shocked to find it was 33 years ago when you bought her. Lovely thing. Here are you both at the Louis Vuitton Concours at Stowe School.

Car still looks beautiful. The same can’t be said for Beecham’s hairline and waistline!

This seems like a fascinating, winning combination; S1 GT 2+2, 275 GTS, and the GTC. They look great in Rosso Nearco (and Blu Sera?). Thanks for the pic and the great comparison. More food for thought for anyone wondering how they match up.

Well I certainly remember that magazine cover(!). The late, great Supercar Classics and yet another wonderful issue.
11233 may have moved on, but I have to say you got great use out of her. Bonus points for the choice as your wedding car. That's fantastic.
Thank you for the wonderful pictures and stories. A fitting tribute to the enduring legacy of these special cars.

Wow, very cool, story goes to show how small the Ferrari world is. I believe I took the photos near Bloomsbury, I was a Student at UCL at the time.

Having restored many '50 and '60 Ferrari's over the past 20 years or so, I must say the 330 GTS is my absolute favourite to drive. Great handling, nice power, and beautiful sound, and very sexy cars.
