Tampa is too strong for Montreal. Their best chance at this series was last night if they were able to go back home 1-1. Now winning 4 of 5 is a tall order vs the powerhouse Lightning and I don't see that happening. In fact I will say Tampa in 4 or 5. The clock finally struck midnight on the Habs.
Game 3 is critical. The Habs have to win or its effectively over. Game 2 they played pretty well but still made critical mistakes. Right now, the Habs are making it easy for Tampa.
Vasilevskiy not playing that well and still Montreal failing badly. So many mistakes by the Habs. They were in Game 3 about 4 minutes total.
I tuned in to see Game 4 of the Stanley Cup finals and to my surprise, I found a WWE event. That was probably the worst officiated game ever. It didn't favor either side but when the refs have to get together to see if a guy gushing blood from a high stick up under his visor is a penalty or not you know things are getting ridiculous.
If you watched series against Vegas you would wonder what happened to that team. Congrats to Tampa. They were probably the best team overall this year. They came thiiiiiiiiiis close to a series sweep. Thank god we go back to a normal season next year. We need more visiting teams. Playing the Ducks 12 times is really boring.
Glad they were able to win at home in front of the fans, family, and friends unlike if they swept. Better than last year even though family were allowed then.
Fleury was just traded to the Blackhawks! https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.espn.com/nhl/story/_/id/31897755/chicago-blackhawks-get-goalie-marc-andre-fleury-trade-vegas-golden-knights-sources-say%3fplatform=amp
