All Metallic Colors (formerly standard) now Extra Cost?!

If true that would be ridiculous

 

Not really, the European, Asian & domestic all now upcharge most 'special' colors. And they're not that special.

 

I am told the regular metallic colors are the same extra cost as "historical" and "special" colors. I am still hoping it’s a mistake in the order guide but dealer said all metallics are extra cost now.

Porsche charges $840 for metallic I'm sure Ferrari will charge north of 3k

 

The price mentioned in the other thread is $12K
The Grigio Silverstone of my 488 came with no extra charge, I did not realise how lucky I was...

 

When I had a private view of the 296 last week, my dealer didn’t have any price options list yet, so I doubt these rumors are right.

 

Would you mind posting the US list? If it would be easier we can do it in the private messaging and can share emails.

Does it actually list what is included in the Assetto package? I was looking at the F8 option list as a guide to build one with and without the 42k but wasn’t sure if things like CF Race Seats and forged wheels, CF driving zone etc. were included in the pack which will narrow the gap between specs. These items were part of the standard items that differentiated 458/Speciale 488/Pista.

Also is there a Surround view camera option now like the Roma I find it to be very useful?

Can you give us some info on:

· What is the list price?
· What is the Assetto Fiorano cost?
· Is there an FIO1 and FIO2 option again?
· Is there a bicolor option for the roof & a-pillar?
· What's the pricing on the all the external carbon?
· Is there an option to change the color/finish on the exhaust finisher? If so, how much is it?
· Are Homelink and Electrochromic Mirrors still an option? If so, how much?

 

Ferrari charges more for paint than any other brand and it's not close. I think I read that viola Hong Kong is almost $100k. Can that possibly be right?

 

Just ask your dealer to price a car out for you in Nero Daytona or any of the metallics that used to be standard. That is exactly what I did and what I found out.
