Just following on from Marcel's original post, here's a video on the book from Ferrari (more focus on the car then book). Even with all the carbon fibre and it being limited in edition personally I can't see $4,000 in it.
My Breadvan book arrived in perfect condition, perfectly packaged from Andy Massen who now has my order for the '64 GTO book...maybe go direct to him in the future...we both know of his efficiency, service and attention to detail...
Andy is indeed a great guy and has helped me a lot in the past. Where can we get in touch with him? Website, email?
He has an eBay store, a business which he runs with Charles Chadwick: https://www.ebay.co.uk/str/cotswoldroadandrace I understand a website is in the pipeline You can reach him on this email address: [email protected]
My ten new Breadvan books arrived yesterday via DHL. They were part of the contractual agreement in which I sold the rights to Rebel rebel Breadvan. The box had some outer damage but inside all ten were fine. I have sold 8 to a bookshop, am keeping one obviously and saved one for Jack the Lad here who had asked (will get postal insured trackable rate for you). Will give my impressions of the book in a few days, enjoyed reading some chapters last night, it is worth buying as there is enough that is different.
New book just arrived in the post. From a time when real Ferrari's were being sold to real enthusiasts. I've been selling prestige cars for 20 years so I look forward to a little bedtime reading. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Would be interested to know if it's worth buying. Any new insights, or at least some entertaining reading?
The editor, Artestampa from Modena, finally received yesterday the Ferrari Royalty agreement about "Ferrari by Schedoni, a long ride on the Prancing Horse" special English limited edition. The Ferrari official agreement says there will be: three evaluation copies: one for mr. Simone Schedoni, one for the editor Edizioni Artestampa and one for the author, me. 141 English language official copies for sale, numbered Those are the numbers: all copies will have an official Schedoni wrapped leather box and will be Schedoni Leather bounded and branded, with the official ellipctical "Cuoio Schedoni Modena" writing embossed on the book hardcover and on the leather wrapped box. High end paper, all numered, all signed by mr. Simone Schedoni. Price: 700 euro each. Shipping is not included: is possible to collect the book directly at the editor shop Edizioni Artestampa, viale Ciro Menotti 170, Modena (very close to Maserati headquarters) and then visiting Schedoni atelier in Modena, that is only two kilometers away. Special English edition books today will be sent to printing: they will be printed in few days, but the completion time depends about the Schedoni production times and as everything at Schedoni is handcrafted, it will require some time, of course. The editor told me that he expects the book ready for shipping at the end of September: means within two months. The special English edition will be based on the standard English edition, just published. As soon as there will be a copy ready, I will post a picture here. ciao
Hi there. I was cleaning out some shelves to move my ofice and came across these. I know there's a little value here, enough to pay for a few flight lessons. Other than fchat classified, how does one sell books? How does one grade books? I'd hete to tell someone it was in X condition only to disappoint by accident. Image Unavailable, Please Login
What was the publication date buddy? From what I've seen the whole way along from my bookseller is an estimated date (I'm assuming from the publisher) and once the date was reached another date 3 months or so later was simply substituted. It's been like that for a year or more. It's currently showing August but that will change again shortly. https://www.pitstop.net.au/browse/item/9781910505205/Enzo-Ferrari
I’m going by the publisher’s web site. Probably more up to date on status than a bookseller. The date has changed many times. Now no date at all, as of the day I posted above.
I'm assuming the bookseller gets the info from the publisher. Do you have the link to the publishers website buddy?
Does anyone have more information regarding this book? https://girardo.com/the-550-prodrive-book Seems promising...
