Can´t be worse than what we have now... I hope.

Although for the presentation I wouldn´t have used that whacky livery, it isn´t helping.

Well, different it is. I wonder if they will be mandated to use the wings as is, or can they innovate? same with the over the wheel canards ... it has potential. I like that ground effect is back, now if they could let them use active aero - and fans... along with normally aspirated engines... then we;re talking ... or quad turbo set ups.... or even individual cylinder turbos...

These enormous front wings look very vulnerable, and will be responsible for more carbon shards littering the track, hence more puncture.
Maybe the FIA should mandate another material for them?

Yep...initial idea was for the wheel covers to show what position they're in, but I think that's dropped now? As the new wheel covers they can have any colour they like.

The livery is ****ing awful I agree.
The only thing I don't like about the new cars is the superwide front wing. Tuck it in! I also believe that DRS should've been removed for these cars or at the very least run a proper experiment with DRS disabled....so we can see real overtakes not DRS enabled fake ones!

The 2022 car with a 4 litre NA V12 at 15K. It would be fantastic IMO.

    +1 I like it

I was thinking about up to a 1 liter V- W -X H -16 turbo or supercharged with KERS, MUGH etc... along with active front and rear aero. Why cant the whole wing formation moves to a delta configuration on the straight, and then back to full with on corners and braking. I was following a McLaren last night and its wing popped up, and air-braked... looked cool we were only going 50 mph... but still, in F-1 it would be a real active aero .... I'm for making it all about ceramic, carbon, etc.. limit fuel and eventually move to Hydrogen / petrol combo with electric as well. limit the combustion engine to 1000HP, and the electric to 1000HP... any combo of the two. OR perhaps change the fuel available per race country. USA Petrol Europe Hydrogen, etc... alow 2 stroke engines as well..... lets get creative

I have seen the livery mockups. The car does look gorgeous. Much better than what we have now. I just don't like that big front wings. And the nose. They need to be slimmer like the astons..

Anyone know the wheelbase comparison between the new concept and current cars?

At least with the lowered "foot pedal" box, the driver can see the front wing.
