    Really cool. The launch of the new Ironman is going to be at the BH boutique next month and all the Breitling brass will be there, along with some guests.

    I'm a sucker for a green face. I just gave my son the Breitling Shadow Flyback that I bought when I found out he was going to make me a father. I took him to AC for the weekend for his 21st birthday. I gave him the watch and he hit on his very first pull for $1200. Needless to say he had a good weekend.

    Unfortunately I now work in a field where it is prohibitive to wear a watch so I really don't have a need for one. Though I hope to buy a Rolex one day, hopefully a two-tone Daytona.

    I had a Super Ocean and a SuperAvenger and now have a SuperAvenger II. I like these better than the Rolex!

    Saw this one while window shopping a few days ago, went in, tried it on and it's been on my mind since. In person, the blue is really a great vibrant color. It's a Super Chronomat B01 44 model. They had a 2nd one setup with the blue rubber band - really nice as well.

    So, the Ironman event was last night and it was cool. My wife is funny. She sells watches to famous musicians and has no clue who some of them are. She's from Brazil and sometimes doesn't relate to US artists from back in the day before she came here. Last night, she was having a half-hour chat with Eliot Easton (who has bought 2 Breitlings from her) during which she asked him what he does. He said, "Oh, I play the guitar in a band" and she replied, "Cool, my husband also plays guitar"... and told him how I have taken over the living room with Les Pauls, and laughed to stay on topic and be polite. Later she tells me that one of her customers also plays a Gibson and asks me if I have ever heard of him? I started laughing and told her that not only have I heard of him, he is also the first cousin of one of my childhood best friends and that I've met him. She still has no clue about The Cars so I played "Drive" on my phone... and she freaks out! LMAO!!!! Today she is texting me asking about other Cars songs.
