To be honest I'm not following, degrees to what?

If you're asking about degrees to TDC, each EFI mfg has a desired 'window' of how to sync the crank and cam trigger as it relates to TDC. I'm not familiar enough with motec to say what it should be.
Some EFI programs allow one to 'tell' or program in when the sensor sees each event.

I remember the M800 has a spot it likes.....90deg #1 TDC rings a bell but best to ask a dealer. Its an older ecu design and the older stuff is funny about things like that. The new motecs and my enginelab don't care even a little....just type in whatever the number is and that's that. The old haltech I had on the 308 was very specific...it had to be before the #1 crank tirgger and after the whatever came before it, didn't like missing tooth crank wheels....all kinds of rules 20 years ago, almost none today.
