I am with you on the soundtrack and the V12 but everything else makes no sense to me. This is even less of road car than the Mercedes CLK GTR was. The latest Schmee video really lays it out. The ingress and egress, the cabin space and most of all the looks. This is very much a Senna like car where there is a certain functional beauty to it but that's pretty much where it ends. I would also like to see how much dirt and stones this car throws up when driven in real life with all those negative spaces. More power for Aston for building this mad thing and to people who bought it but even if I had all the money in the world this would not be in my garage.
What really surprised me is the cabin noise. Per Newey’s own words, it is noisier than expected. It seems you won’t be able to drive this car without ear plugs or headphones. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
Yeah that Shmee150 video while driving is incredibly loud. Not sure what requirements there are for noise levels here in the US, but that thing seems not enjoyable without earplugs. I still want one.
Genuine question, where would you drive it? That front lip does not look like it would clear even the smallest of curbs/inclines....
The car is said to have active suspension, so very likely we will see front lifter working when it's implemented? To be fair the clearance of this car is no crazier than the likes of Laferrari, P1 or AMG One just to name a few. So if those cars are being driven on the street around the world, the answer to your question seems to be pretty clear. If I were to take a dig at the practicality of the car it would be the ingress/egress of it. The seats are gonna get dirty fast from the shoes.

OMG! Can’t wait to see it! I am contemplating its baby brother, the Valhalla. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
A Valkyrie Roadster or "Volante" is really extraordinary I can't even imagine the sensations of this open version. Unfortunately, it will be extremely limited so I imagine that very few owners will take it out of their collection. Anyway, I can't wait to see it at Pebble Beach!

Absolutely incredible. I wasn't sure how they would figure out the roof mechanism other than a basic one piece design, but they knocked it out of the park with that.
Not sure why they would spend/waste any money on developing this spider when they haven't managed to deliver any coupes yet. .
Any news about the Valkyrie or Valkyrie AMR Pro? The Valkyrie (Road Car) should be in production but still no news since Pebble Beach. And for the Valkyrie AMR Pro the deliveries are scheduled to start in Q4 2021 but no news since June 2021, Aston must have two prototype of the Valkyrie AMR Pro supposed to be ready "very soon" since June. And from what I understand the production of the Valkyrie Spider should start in Q4 2022.
