    My spider order has to be finalized tomorrow. Spent time today with dealer going through the configurator with the Ferrari rep on speakerphone. I wasn’t aware that AF nukes the glove box. Not a huge deal, but something to note. Rep indicated with AF, most are going with the surround view cameras. My only concern is that the one mounted in the lower nose area looks really odd. The ones on the side mirrors aren’t fantastic looking either.

    Anyone else take the AF package and not do the surround cameras? Apparently, the approximate take rate for AF is nearly 50%. So, there have to be lots of folks that have contemplated the same things…

    Has anyone with AF measured the height from road to bottom of front splitter? Curious what that measurement is??

    Ours is ok on aggressive speed bumps near our house -slowly. Don’t remember having the surround option on our coupe? Either way, we don’t have surround. It’s absolutely fine but given the choice I still would.

    I just ordered the skid plates from automods in Florida. Got them a few days ago but the car is still a few weeks out. Will make a post once the car shows

    Would anyone know why with the AF package, the full door panels in matte carbon is not included? and charge the same price as an AF coupe package?

    I don’t pretend to know for sure. However, when spec’ing my AF spider, the factory rep indicated that there were a number of features that were not homolgated (yet).

    thank you, for first batch of spider orders, does your rep anticipate the door panels to be in full matte carbon, or leather with gloss carbon as displayed in their show AF spider?

    I could be wrong, but my understanding is leather with gloss.

    I was told the same, I switched my order from coupe to Spider, my coupe was specked with AF + all carbon options, when I went through the order with Atelier I’ve noticed that the door cards were a hybrid of leather and carbon (mostly leather) I wasn’t happy about that but I was told the reason for that is that the carbon door cards weren’t tested for the Spider ‍♂️‍♂️
    I was told that the rear fire tunnel parcel shelf is unchanged as in it will be carbon fibre when AF package is selected.

    thank you for the response, reminds of porsche and the 992 gt3 rs launch with the weissach package, lack of hoods in full gloss carbon, but charged the same amount. Doubt ferrari would honor changing the door panels in the future with the AF package when they get it right.

    I'm getting same information from my dealer about no CF door panels for Spider. Salesman says he will contact NYC atelier and find out if possible. If it was possible, I'd hold up my order until the panels become available. I don't understand how they are on coupe but not spider.
    Also, is anyone ordering floor mats with logo (FLMA). Salesman says to get FLMA I need to order CARP4 which is alcantera floor carpet. I don't understand that either, especially when he adds CARP4, he can't add FLMA.
