My F8 is here, video and rare color

The videos and pics do not actually show the reflective nature of the color, its so reflective you need to wear sunglasses to look at the car, NO JOKE, the reflections due to the flake are like a mirror and blinding, pictures and video cannot capture as the iPhone adjusts to not allow the image to blow out, the color also has no real reflections like a satin color, but throws massive highlights, I must say its amazing in person.

The car is lowered on the stock coil over suspension with 15mm spacers in the rear, no spacers in the front. I think the stance is massively improved, as discussed to death in other threads, but the coil over works great and no need to use lowering springs + Pista wheels and titanium bolts.

The car also has the following interior options which are really great for the money IMO, Dreamline on the steering wheel, Alcantara carpet, interior matched leather on the back of the seats, rear shelf in interior color Alcantara, full power seats, what a game changer for drivers position, this is the first car that I have not ordered sport seats, IMO the power seats are fantastic.

I like Mica flake. Haven't sprayed it in years. Nobody uses it anymore. All these cars and trucks with cheap straight colors look like Lada's with clearcoat. Beautiful car dude.

Yes, Miller lowered the car and added the spacers and alignment, they are fantastic. Not my first dealing with them and I agree they do fun stuff, I have joined them in them in the past.

Beautiful combination, really like it.

Which red is that interior? is it Rosso? I know most digital camera's these days massively over saturate reds. My car has Rosso leather and I need to always turn down saturation and hue on the red channel to get something that looks realistic.

Agree on Alcantara carpets, I also have these and would definitely spec them again if I am fortunate enough to spec a new Ferrari in the future.

They refer to it as a “4-layer” paint. Don’t know about origins.

I have not driven teh car yet so I do not know, it was trucked directly to a placer for PPF and a bunch of other stuff, Dreamline and carbon, etc. I will let you know once I get the car out.

Thanks Scott. I do not know much about the color, I was told, from whom I do not remember, that its a new color for Ferrari. They did not list it as a triple layer, but for sure its multi, multi layered, the flake just goes on forever when you get close. They charged me like a triple layer

I was able to see the color on a speed form at the Atelier Center in Manhattan, they also have a hood painted this color on the wall.

Yes, it is Rosso, the camera just goes crazy and adds soooooo much saturation that it looks like lipstick red. And, I hope you do get the change to spec another car, I believe its in your future...

Congratulations, one of my favorite spec F8s I’ve seen thus far. I’ve never heard of the color, but Mica based paints are insane. My Speciale is finished in Rosso Rubino Micalizzato and it’s very different than a traditional metallic paint. In shadows it takes a dark burgundy tone and in sunlight it almost looks like Rosso Fuoco. I’ll have to keep note of this color for my next new F-Car
