Hi - has anyone joined either Ferrari Owners Club or Ferrari Club of America? Any reviews or thoughts? Is it worth joining? Is one better than the other? Do you attend events? Are they worth it?

    Thanks for any insights

Yes, yes, yes, maybe, not yet, I think so.

I just recently joined FCA. I have no opinion yet.

Yes to all. NWRFCA member for 10 years, first as a 355 owner, now an F430. It made Ferrari ownership more meaningful and enjoyable - served as a ticket to meet many other like-minded people, toured car collections not open to the public, tech sessions at Ferrari dealerships, both day drives (Oregon desert drive below) and overnighters, FCA National Meet, and more. IMHO, worth it.

Can't comment on the Ferrari Owners Club which isn't active in my neck of the woods as far as I know.

Whether joining FCA is worth it or not totally depends on your local chapter, how active they are and whether or not their events are the kind you care about.

True. And the activity level and event type may change depending on who is running the show.

Makes sense. I’m in Chicago primarily. Any idea on how good that region is?

Sorry, but my experience is only in California, where both FCA and FOC seem to be quite active with various regional chapters and events.
I would suggest you post same in the regional FChat section covering your area.

I'll say this for the FCA. They are not snobs. They don't care is you drive a Miata on one of their runs.

    Try that with the PCA.

The Ferrari Owners Club Northern California Region is an active club with lots of different fun events. It's a no hassle, no politics club, and many events are open to other sports car clubs. If you want to see for yourself, I recommend you follow the FOC Facebook page below.

Been a member of the Ferrari Club of America for 45 years. The last 5-6 years have been excellent with events happening all the time. No pretense. No BS. Just great car enthusiasts. The magazine Prancing Horse is worthwhile as well. Much depends on which chapter you belong to and how many events/gatherings they have, but my experiences have been very positive.
