I’ve only experienced one greaser - back in 1998 on a QANTAS A300-B4 VH-TAA into SYD - we couldn’t tell when the mains hit the ground, it was just so smooth and quiet. The very next landing on VH-TAA on the second leg into OOL, was the roughest I’ve experienced. We thumped the ground hard in a heavy crosswind and some of the overhead storage lockers opened (never experienced that before or since). I remember the ailerons were also fully deflected, and there were a lot of adjustments made all the way to touchdown. Talk about opposite ends of the spectrum between just one leg and the next. The captain landed in SYD (his name was Allan Searle, and he also flies/flew the TAA DC-3 in his spare time), and the FO landed at OOL. I think the difference was more about the weather than skill.

I wonder what the issue was for the UA 767 at the 6 min mark? Left engine thrust reverser was not engaged for ages, came on for a second, then was closed again? Obviously an issue with the thrust reverser(s)?
