Purchased a 575M and then driving across the western US. Starting in San Francisco and ending in Denver 9 days later on 09/02. I plan on shipping the Ferrari from Denver to it's new home in Long Island NY. I am looking to drop it off at a trusted Ferrari Chat shop who can store it for a few days and than load it up on the carrier when it pulls up. Finalizing the plans now and am hoping that someone knows a shop that is trustworthy and willing to assist me with this trip. Any suggestions or recommendation greatly appreciated.

Long trips in a 575M are addicting; once you get on a roll, you hate to stop. When you arrive in Denver, you may decide to continue to Long Island; it's only another 1850 miles. Iv'e done several coast to coast each direction and quite a few 900+ mile "non-stops"; great fun!

2800 miles in 8 days is enough. 350 miles a day avg, that is almost as much as the 575M avg over some of the past 16 years. Anyway, I have to get back to work to pay for the all the similes. lol

Nandevanter, quick question. When you had long runs what MPG did you average for laughs? Driving from Reno to Salt lake City non-stop unless I need gas.

Never kept track of mpg but never ran out of gas. Depends on how you drive but pushing hard or city driving ~8-12 mpg. Easy highway ~16-18 mpg. I usually figured ~400+ range on Interstate with full 27.7 gal.gas tank. Reno to Salt Lake will likely need one stop....most fun is route 50 (Loneliest Road in America) with gas fill up in Ely. (On second thought, 50 may not be a good idea with new to you 15+(?) year old Ferrari.)

No fears, Ferraris are meant to be driving. Fingers crossed, I never had a Ferrari not get me to where I was going.
