Surely a "mass market" offering, but? I'm a big fan of mezcal & think this could be quite interesting. Just received this bottle from a cousin, and hope to sample it soon. Image Unavailable, Please Login p.s.? Certainly isn't the "worlds first," as I've blended mezcals & tequilas at home on occasion. Nice way to tame the smoke without ruining the general profile, when you want to sip something a little lighter.
Soulsea has a picture of it in his post. Tears of Llorona--I don't drink a lot of Tequila but this stuff is great.
Its after 5PM and I'll be right back, I'm heading to my tequila cupboard. I couldn't find Arette Anejo at any of the local big box liquor stores ;(
Finding this stuff is very much hit and miss. Here in NC I hardly ever find much. Go across to SC and the good stuff is plentiful. Gov. Control in NC must have something to do with it. Each store is privately owned in SC.
Btw, I tried this when I was out in AZ a few months ago ... it was fantastic and I highly recommend it. Image Unavailable, Please Login
That Tequila Ocha reposado looks very pale for a reposado, but I'd love to try it anyway. Don Pilar looks interesting, I sure miss the days my mother in law made tequila runs to Mexico for me. Cheers
You're just teasing me with all that Extra Anejo Tequila, my cheapness prevents me from buying extra high quality tequila whose life in my cupboard is ultra short.
Scored a new Mezcal and IPA at Costco the other day. Interestingly the NYT had a story on the El Silencio Mezcal. I still prefer the Ilegal Mezcal Costco sells or the Costco Anejo for sippin. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Been exploring stuff I haven't tried before. Shop keeper recommended this: Image Unavailable, Please Login
