    I did a few searches, but still unclear.

    How do I open up this housing. I have the new filter and rubber gasket in hand!!!

    Does the entire cap top spin off?

    Be aware that Ferrari used 2 different suppliers for carb 308's fuel filter assemblies, FISPA and FIAAM (what you have). They use different filters so you have to make sure that you acquire the correct one for your car.

    For my '77 GT4 I have two numbers noted for Baldwin fuel filters. The name cast into the top of the filter holder on your car should define which to get. Just to be sure you can take your filter cartridge out and compare it to the dimensions listed in the links below for conformation.
    (FISPA type) = PF834
    (FIAMM type) = PF866
