Well, I'm sorry, but F1 hasn't always been like that for those who have been following it long enough (60 years in my case).

3rd engine should be fine. It’s when he needs to go to a 4th engine (ICE) that he’ll get penalized unless he’s already on the limit for some other components or PU elements.

Webber: “I think it was one of the best first laps we've seen in a long time.”

:) Verstappen: “One of the best first laps… until HAM understeered into me and took me out!” :)

Ah ok. Sorry I lost complete interest in the constantly changing component rules, lol. I was under the impression that a penalty could apply at this track, which would be very bad....a penalty at a different track will still result in a penalty but if taken at the right track won't be as big an impact.

The Verstappen crash engine was sent to Japan for review. Components were changed but none of the limited ones. It will be tested on Friday in Hungary to see if it is ok to continue the season.

Couldn't agree more on this and that is what I think RB are hoping to achieve with an appeal. Hammy was "penalized" yet won the race and the incident will continue to affect RB long after Silverstone in terms of engines. Wouldn't be surprised if the FIA allowed RB some flexibility on this.

The FIA cannot change the rules to suit the events unfolding during the season.

There is no provision in the rules as they stand, allowing a team an extra engine following an accident.

I assume that DRS2 is only from T2 to T3. If so what a waste. DRS2 should be from T3 exit to T5 entry. See who has the balls to go through T4 with the wing open.

that’s cause MB protested. Never was a problem before but now that RB is a real threat they (MB) are desperate.

I can only hope that Max will stay this cool on Sunday:):):) Because that would mean a smooth and deserved win after the Silverstone experience.
