    The question is about practicality, well take a wild guess, if you have to ask, you should not be in the market for a Ferrari , its that simple. The imbecile in the 488 should have the car taken away from him, and should be banned from ever buying a Ferrari again, lest we see HIM on some big city newscast , having killed himself and possibly someone else .Good Grief, I cant afford a 488 yet. buy I will always have a nice Ferrari , and a nice truck so I can use it when I need to pick something up . The admins should delete this thread, and any other like it.

    When I lived in Greenwich it was routine to see an Enzo and a F40 picking up a pizza and a CGT regularly visited Whole Foods. Loved the sounds!

    Testarossa frunk will take quite a stack of large pizzas, and the parcel shelf can hold many 6-packs.
    It almost seems purpose designed for the pizza and beer run.

    Edit: and the parcel shelf has those straps to avoid the unsecured load :)

    My answer: Certain Ferraris are very practical everyday drivers. I bought mine in November of 1975. It’s 54 years old, has over 201,000 miles and is in just about everyday use. I’ve taken it camping, to model airplane contests, to the store, post office etc.

    I’ve gotten strange looks when loading bags of mulch into the trunk while shopping at Lowes.

    Yes, I also picked up lumber at the same Lowes. Check out the first photo.

    Back in 2018, I went to a model airplane contest in Southwest, PA. As seen in the second photo, I took quite a bit of “stuff” and EVERYTHING fit inside.

    For what it’s worth, I think the guy in the first photos of this thread is very irresponsible – not because he’s putting a large package in his car but the package does not appear to be secured. Yep, good chance it could fall out and hurt someone. You’ll notice the lumber in my first photo is well wrapped and padded as was secured with the safety belts and bungee cords.

    I’ve never thought of my GTC as an investment, chick magnet or “showoff” vehicle. I bought it because I like it and it’s a real pleasure to drive.

    It has a very sophisticated alarm system and I will soon install remote door locks, trunk release and cruise control.

    That’s my story and I’m stickin to it!

    I used my F512M for the school run and commute for a few weeks while my C63 wagon was being fixed. Big door aperture and lots of footwell space for kit. You can fit a lacrosse stick and tennis racket behind the front seat. Fetching other stuff out of the front boot trunk always seemed a bit attention seeking. Outside my daughters girls school not a single fellow pupil ever looked at this red exotic unloading a kid and stuff. My daughter said it was a combination of people not caring and others pretending not to notice. Meanwhile the boys from the nearby school would walk past and ask me to rev the engine or climb in or whatever.
    Bloody impractical in London with no power steering and a manual gearbox, but quite a tough car.
