Since F40s, F50s are up, have GTOs gone up as well? What's the average price now for a nice one? Is the floor at $3m or still around 2.5m?
I would tend to agree that $3m +/- a few % for normal variables is the current benchmark. I know 2 exemplary 288's just the wrong side of $3m. If anyone is interested please send me a PM.
So one would need GTO - $3m F40 - $1.5m F50 - $3.5m Enzo - $3m Laf - $3m $14m to own all 5 nowadays. I need to revise my goals.
Crazy to think that ~10-15 years ago a GTO was $400k, F40 was $300-400k, F50 was $800k, Enzo was $1.2m.
No wonder because just 280 units were built (grand total). 6 prototypes, 2 pre-production and show cars, plus 272 standard units. Marcel Massini
I would be happier with a 20k miles Euro F40 than a 2k miles US F40. Look better Sound better Have been sorted Those can still be had for 1.5m..for now.
i dont disagree....since that is what i have. BUT, your stack is a little mixed...the numbers you quote for the others, should be compared now with these usa spec F40's with 3k miles on them, just to keep it all apples and apples. so if we use comparable specs for all in the stack, it looks more like this now: GTO - $3m F40 - $2.5m F50 - $3.5m Enzo - $3m Laf - $3m so $15 mil to buy the full set
I know of a very recent 288 GTO sale that was 3.2 M EUROS, not USD. And there's another one currently for sale with an asking price of Euro 3.0 M. So, a lousy 3 M USD$ for a 288 GTO just isn't enough nowadays. Marcel Massini
ok. so put it at 3.5 mil usd....and the full set costs 15.5 mil usd. simple enough. whats a half million between friends
