    Does anyone know why this light would come on, what is it warning or indicating? It's intermittent at the moment. Just trying to understand what the warning is for. I just had a major tune up 1500 miles ago so everything has been good and the car has been running excellent.

    It means one or both of the Engine management ECU is finding something out of specs for ignition. It could be a misfire, a missing signal, a too high sensor signal, or the inability to bring the combustion back to stoichiometric range. On cars of this vintage, very often the condition is phantom and flooring of the gas cleans it up. But, sometimes it is a true fault condition and you would have to read the error code to find out what it is.
