:) Don't think I would take $325k for my car. Would need to first find one as good or better to replace it (for less), or steal a bunch of parts out of it.

I really have to ask you guys for a sanity check. I see numbers from $175 to $250k being thrown around for the black 23k miles GTB with accident history. Yet the red/tan 1995 (listed as a 96) GTB/Euro with 7k miles, fully serviced, listed on ebay for $189k hasn't sold and has been relisted twice (1st listing was July 14).

You know this is Ferrari Chat F355 market thread…. How dare you ask for sanity! LOL…..

Nothing in the above quoted post makes sense. But I think eBay has lost some of its shine. Not an easy place to sell cars on these days. Prior to June, it was decent, but they are making changes to banking internally. Distrust is climbing. People prefer the Auction sites. I personally prefer eBay, but I think we are seeing a market shift. Just my .02 take on why that car has not sold or has activity.

As a disenfranchised buyer, I'll try to balance the overzealous owners in here. I'd say $125-145k depending on service completed (and history). Assuming everything (headers, valves, stickies, interior) is completed and in top condition. Auction sites may bring slightly more, but there is additional risk/hassle involved with anonymous bidders. Despite the recent trends, I believe the market will plateau this Fall/Winter and stop climbing. The upside is that F355s have definitely passed the bottom of the depreciation curve, but I wouldn't expect to get the prices that current owners are quoting in here either.

Perhaps the better question would be: who has a 95 Red manual coupe with headers, valves, stickies sorted, w/ 22k mi willing to sell his car for $145k ?

    Answer: nobody.

I have that car with 30k mi. I wouldn’t take $150k right now. The future? Who knows? Wasn’t planning on selling unless someone gave me F-U money. The economy would need to tank for prices to come down imo.

Id sell my 21k car you described for 600k, but not a penny less. In a few years my price will be higher and it still wont be for sale, though.

I'm not arguing that. Only an idiot tries to put a pricetag on someone else's sentimental value. My Shelby market value is probably in the lower 100s, but I wouldn't sell it for double that.

That said, I'm not trying to tell other Shelby owners that the market is $300k for concourse examples, just because that's what it would take to get me to sell.

$125-145k is on the low side in today's market imo. A GTS w/ 40k mi w/ NO service, guides, or headers done (stickies unknown) just sold for $166k. Com'n now. Service, guides, headers, stickies has a $30k price tag.

The engine out for that car is documented out here.

Pcar also has a silver GTS no one has bid on with 1 day left and one other one I forget what but there's like three or four on Pcar right now.

Pcar only has a silver GTB with accident history that has already been discussed extensively here… and this black GTB, which also has a marred carfax.

If one is looking for a manual coupe with no accident history, the current market selection is slim to none… as I expected ;).
