Any one know a good source to an exact match for a grey 2007 430 diffuser?
This has been covered numerous times. If you want an "exact" match, take your diffuser to your local automotive paint supply place and they'll scan it. You can get the resulting paint in a spray can, touch up bottle, or pint/gallon.
If hes talking about matching grigio silverstone good luck. I had terrible time trying to match when i had my front bumper resprayed. tried 2 times and i gave up
I had a stone chip on one of my front "nostrils" and used TY01614 Phantom Grey Toyota touch-up paint - it matched pretty good. Haven't tried it my rear diffuser though.
Grey Areas: Front Bumper Intake Surrounds Rear Diffuser Engine Bay Panels etc 236430 CROMO GRIGIO CORSA MET OE Code: 236430 Matt Clear Top Coat
Get your touch up here: https://colorndrive.com/gb/touch-up-...365900/details To get the correct finish you then need "Matt Clear Top Coat". However that is for larger areas, and probably not necessary for small chips. Or a cheaper alternative on eBay: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/203130458...53.m1438.l2649 Or for large quantities: FERRARI GRIGIO CORSA-MET. (248642) Paint Code is most likely an internal code for the company.
Which parts are gray? The front bumper area is matte black and I think the rear lower piece too. Pics?
It sounds like they are talking about the "black" sections. But they are actually a dark gunmetal gray. AND have a matte top coat. I am curious if it is the same for 360s. I will be drilling my bumper/diffuser to extract the gear oil tube screen filter. Then place a grommet to cap the hole. Flat black worked well enough on scrape chips under the front radiator bulges, in the bottom coat.
I am not sure what colour it is, now being 13 years old it is faded and since it is coming off to change the power steering oil i was going to spray it at the same time.
Ah great point. I think that's where the new digital match capability comes in handy. If you can get by with a digital match to the current state of the color, and paint only that, you should be all set.
