Oil Filter adapter. Any experience?

    Don't see how that could work on a TR -- the oil filter mounting fitting is a 1"-12 TPI thread (don't see that size in the bunch of fittings, and would probably require a bigger hole/different machining in the Aluminum piece).

    What deviltry are you up to? ;)

    I am going through the pains of trying to find an oil filter again. The market hasn't gotten any better, that's for sure!

    I just read the thread I started years ago. Did anyone ever try that Baldwin B255 filter? It's an easy find if it works.

    when you put on such an adapter you need a filter with less height. and this means less material in the filter to filter the debris
