My impression is that this is a tricky if not dangerous track, I'm somewhat surprised that it was approved by IndyCar. Hoping for a safe race for all.
Say what you want about Jimmy, but that transition is going to catch more out before the day is over. As someone on another forum said, either this will be wheel to wheel excitement, or a boring **** show that leads to alot of torn up equipment. Sent from my SM-G781U1 using Tapatalk
agree, this race could see a lot of carnage. what's funny is, last time I was in Nashville (4 years ago or so), I was amazed how poor the road conditions were. that was my first thought when they announced the course layout. there was so much hype, and so many big names involved, I don't think they could have backed out in the past 6 months. hopefully next year the promoters can work something out with the city on road surface
I like Johnson and have huge respect for his tin roof career achievements. He was also not ridiculous when he tried an F1 car. But this year...? Maybe try fly fishing or butterfly netting. I don't think he had a failure there other than being offline and getting caught out by a bump...and why was it him...yet again...
from the onboard it looked like he put steering input in the car right as it went over one of the expansion joints
