Gotta be fair…..the Pista looks stunning and is all the car you could ever need, IMO. If I could afford one, you best believe I would.
Everything new coming out looks like a fighter jet. That's cool and all if that's what you want, but sometimes you just want something that looks a bit more simple and understated, yet adequately capable. Something that will be deemed more timeless in the grand scheme of things. The fighter jet look will be topped by the next latest and greatest fighter jet with more holes and vents and funny angry faces.
6 recent listings in the registry in the last 10 days. Wish I had that many choices when I was looking. No complaints- though.
Even more concerning for me is the tech they’re putting in the new cars. How they gonna fix it in 10 years? I’d love an SF 90 but I’m not down with the whole hybrid thing. It’ll be a boat anchor in 10 years. Too complex.
The CS is gorgeous - no two ways around that. I will say though the SF90 is starting to grow one me, I get the sentiment though of many here - the drama just seems lacking. Kind regards.
Hello! I joined Fchat more than 9 years ago and have been lurking since - this is my first post! Have had a lifelong dream of owning a Ferrari, now in my early 40s, finally in a place to do so. I'm in the market for a Challenge Stradale for all the reasons you all know so well. I think there are actually a few nice ones available right now, and I'm intending to purchase one imminently. I may ask some for some feedback on specific CSs I'm considering, but in the meanwhile, I had kind of a silly question, and wasn't able to find any information searching. I've noticed that there are (at least) two different styles of the console badge - a 2-flag badge pin (which I believe is the pininfarina badge?), and a single, larger Ferrari/American Flag badge. I've attached pictures of each. There is no information on the Wiki portion of the Challenge Stradale website on this. My questions are: - What does this indicate, if anything, about the CS? Did they simply switch badges after awhile, or is the non-American Flag badge perhaps because delivery was to be somewhere other than US? - It's a minor detail, and does not affect function, so it doesn't much matter to me, but visually, I do have a preference; I'm wondering if there is a market preference for one over the other? - It is possible/easy/advisable to replace one with the other if the owner desires? Also - most CSs available now are red, which I love of course, but there is just something about a yellow CS that grabs me unlike any other color. There are so few around that I don't intend to wait until one pops up (I'm a few months late on the one that was at Tactical in May), but if anyone knows of one for sale privately, etc., please let me know. Thank you! Bond
