360 Challenge Stradale Exhaust Tips

i thought the stock CS tips and the muffler outlet pipe heat shield cover were titanium and that's why the finish looks like that...no?

 

no, I even spent $20 to analyze the metal composition, it is typical 304 stainless steel. LOL

i'll post a pic of that steel analyzer later

There's a local shop that I used to do bodyworks, like collision damages.
They have all kinds of welding machines & stuff
I knew them for a while and I walked up to them one day and just asked them if they can do a reproduction
they did and with some trials and errors, that's the final product. I'll post some more detailed pics later.
Im not selling this stuff to anyone because its a little expensive. But just want you to know that you can walk up to somebody who's willing to do this too.

 

Kinda hard to ask a shop to make a reproduction without having the originals .


I see bolt holes on the tips. Are CS tips welded on? Bolted on?

 

What’s the inner diameter of the tips? I plan on putting these on a 355 exhaust btw .

Hi. I see this topic is a few years old. But I need CS tips as well.

I have the 430 tips now on my 360 and they have to go!

 

Digging this thread out of the grave. I'd love to find a good replica set as well. Any pointers?
