I tend to agree, the 365 GTC appears to be light coloured, so assuming it's white, #12147 would be the likley candidate.
Yes, the white GTC is 12147. The only white GTC that came here, was sold to the USA in the late 80's. 12207 was originally Bronze whereas in the 2nd photo the car looks to be a darker colour.
I sat in a White RHD Mangusta that was for sale at Ian Cummins for $67k back in around 2006 possibly same car [emoji848]
Not a W.H. Lowe car, but most worthy of a mention as it spent some time here: 400SA #1885SA Peter Menere was a Melbourne, Brighton BMW dealer and Ferrari and Bugatti nut. He owned this very significant 400 Superamerica Series 1 cabriolet for many years. It was sold new in Milano and delivered LHD. Registered in Victoria on plates KFB 999, he converted it to RHD and it was black in his ownership. He sold it to the USA in about 1986 and it was converted back to LHD. I think he owned it for some 20 or so years. I have one image of it whilst in Melbourne, the remaining images are from post 1987 after the conversion back to LHD in the USA. WOW what a car. Fast with a 250, a 400 must be incredible. I saw a fabulous 410SA Cab once. Fabulous, fabulous cars. Thanks for posting Carl.
Once more - THANK YOU CARL FOR THIS THREAD! You’ve made my week, probably be the best thing this year

I have many great anecdotes about Ferraris in the 70s & 80's shared by my mate Carle R - a lot of which I wouldn't share (to protect the guilty). I have a good one to start, so I am going to offer a teaser - Does anyone know the story of Bob the Basher? Regards WM
He didn't sell it the USA. He sold it here on the condition it would stay here. George P, bought it on this promise, then drove it straight to the docks. He swapped it for the 312PB. Peter was an honourable man, George not.
Great thread thanks Carl, love seeing these old photos & reading all the conversations, please keep posting.
Thanks Ian for the clarification. Although a bit before my time, I recall George as a gold chain wearing night club owner. His taste in cars appeared out of character. The 312PB #0886 was amazing, I have some images of it at the 1989 Adelaide Grand prix. They are transparencies however and it will take months to get to those. Here's a period image however: Ronnie Peterson and Tim Schenken, Monza 1972, I think. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Here's a few courtesy of PP from its time in Australia. Question, whom owned the F40 behind it? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
You know Carl, I got photos of the 312 PB from the 89 GP. When I go to Adelaide for X-mas, I will bring across all my photos and share with you.
Thanks Rennie. More pics the better. The above was from the 1989 National Rally. Same with these below. Pics courtesy PP. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Probably George P. He told me that he ordered his F40 new from Scuderia Veloce ( leased it) and sold it through them at the end of the lease.
