    Very insect like. Front headlights and bumper reminds me of a scorpion’s fangs and claws. Not a fan.

    Thinking about having the carbon hood vent painted the same color as the body as it will look like a cross with stripes running front to back.

    Maybe someone will come up with an aftermarket glass or clear Lexan trunk lid as the current one is the most awful thing on the car

    To be perfectly honest, you are so right!
    I find the Competizione a mean looking car. Think in the flesh it wont disappoint. However, only thing bothering me are also those ugly looking vortex generators. I personally will remove them. I think the rear lid with small camera and missing vortex generators will look much cooler than with them on there. Put it this way - it is an easy fix!

    can you just buy an extra regular 812 rear glass through the parts department? we all know the vortex generators are just a gimmick which will likely not age well. I have one on order but that part drives me nuts

    I personally love them, but have had to work on convincing others, even after a basic engineering lesson, (or my version of vortex generators - maybe that why they definitely refused to move on their position - lol).

    If your buying this car you have to keep them surely…

    Personnally I would prefer the so-called Vortex generators on a transparent glass - if they are functional, the blind rear hatch certainly is not.
    My remark is not really relevant though, since I am not a potential buyer of the 812 Competizione (and if I could afford one, I'd probably look at a TdF first).

    Yea, I think JC Whitney has one you can order. Is this the trash the 812GTS-C thread because A. I can't get one. B. I have a TFD and realize the 812GTS-C is the one to have???

    Hahaha, nah. Just the nature of the internet. Lots of unhappy people that like to complain about things so they can feel better. I personally don’t get it. If I don’t like something I don’t feel the need to broadcast it because I know there are others that do and why make them feel bad?

    I’m all for discussion on the particulars of things but a lot of times these threads just become “this sucks and what I like is so much better”.

    I guess it’s easier for some to try and pull others down rather than lift them up. Such is life on Internet forums.

    A lot of thin skins out there. Not looking to burst anyone’s bubble.
    Just commenting on the one part of the design IMMHO which can use improvement. If you guys love it as is GREAT! Last I checked the Ferraris aftermarket exists because people don’t love everything about their car and want to make it better for themselves(and admittedly often bastardize the design and value of their car) But hey it’s their car and they can do as they please. To each their own…

    Still no review or video of the car nearly 4 months later… it feels like a long period after the launch date
