I have my 458 spider since October 2020. My first Ferrari. I'm a very NA-kind-of-guy. I'm still madly in love with it. But every time I see an F8 (especially spec'd just like this one), I really feel like upgrading. I think it's the best looking Ferrari since the 458, of any models. Maybe one day I can afford to keep the 458 (which will become a classic) and then get the F8. Congrats again.
The F8 also looks amazing in TdF, indeed. PS: But you can't write a reply like that and not add at least one shot (or reference another post with shots

Congrats!! Classic but very nice configuration. You’re gonna love it, i collected mine three months ago. We’ve got the same dealer https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/f8-tributo-new-stablemate-for-my-challenge-stradale.643700/#post-147967455
How is it in comparison to your 488. I plan on trading my 488 gtb for the f8. It will be an 80k difference. Is it worth it?
Honestly I didn't drive it enough yet to give a judgement. It looks and feels much more modern. Especially the interior is a big upgrade. 488 gtb sounds better though. To be continued.
Does it just Sound outside Not as Good as the 488? What is your opinion on the inside Sound ? still Good ? ordered a f8 but can still switch to a used 812
For me it's especially inside the car that the sound is much lower / less raw than the 488 gtb. I don't care much about the outside.
Ok- thanks. I hopped inside ist would Sound as Good as the 488. im Not sure anymore of the f8 is the Right car for me. I Know i will love the looks and the driving experience - turn in and acceleration. But if the Sound is too bad, that would be disapointing. 812 Sound top Looks good But turn in maybe Not That Good like the f8
I think I’m like you. To me engine note in a Ferrari (and for Porsche as well) is a dealbreaker. The sound of the NA V8 in the 458 and the flat6 in the GT3 is my absolute favorite feature and part of the driving style eXperience. The NA V12s note is even better! That’s why as much as I like the 488 or the F8, how much overall better cars they are, they simply don’t turn me on. Or if I go for it one day, I’ll likely keep the 458. Having said all this, you could also try an aftermarket exhaust for the F8 that would help make the engine note more aggressive. It’ll never be like any of the NAs, but it will still be pretty great.
Right now im driving an 991.1 RS - its a keeper- what a car what a Sound at 8500! Im with you - nothing Beats a natural asperated Ferrari. thats the Point - is the f8 an over all experience to Drive - is it emotional enough - or would it ne better to get an 812, knowing That it isnt That Good in cornering or driving Twisty roads. one Point is the F8 is the Last midengine v8 and i can Order an new one spect by myself
Ultimately it depends on what you want to do with the car (V12 being more of a GT vs the sporty V8). Personally I'd take the 812 w/o a question. You already have the fun sporty ride use case in the RS. F8 is great, but from an 'emotional experience' perspective, no question to me the 812 is the right choice. BTW I have the 991.2 GT3 as well, and I actually think the 458 is already more of a refined GT-experience vs the more raw models of the past, certainly more than the GT3. The F8 is likely going to be even more refined and GT-like. So again, the 812 would be the better option. 1st-world problems...
Thanks for your answer. i think a Little the Same. Also a 992 Touring Manual is incoming. So i will have two very compact feeling sporty Cars. My fear is that the f8 will impress me in Looks and power. But Could be disapointing emotional wise. 812 would be another experience. This Sound ! but specing once in the Life an new Ferrari is also something Special
hey… maybe the F8 can be pretty emotional. Check this out: maybe we have a bunch of F8 owners laughing at my ass right now…
Love the rear glass on the F8 Love the rear (F40- style) glass on the F8 Tributo. Hope to have one someday. Congrats!
Don’t be dismayed by the sound. It is artificially quiet because of regulators. Get an aftermarket exhaust and it will sound like a Ferrari again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Ive ordered a full Novitec system, I hope it makes the car sound as a Ferrari should, anyone else have any experience of a Novitec system.
When you say full system, what exactly are you referring to? Sent from my SM-G930F using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Not impressive. Could not get beyond the fact that the driver was wearing a mask while alone in the car.
